I am an author, educator, and advocate for literacy and representation in children's literature. As a Muslim woman, I am passionate about ensuring that young readers, especially those who look like me, see themselves reflected in the books they read.

With over 25 years in education, I have dedicated my life to fostering a love for literacy, guiding young minds to discover the power of reading and self-expression. My journey as an author is deeply intertwined with my passion for diversity, inclusivity, and the need for authentic stories that resonate with children from all backgrounds.

Through my books, I aim to inspire, educate, and empower the next generation of readers and thinkers. Beyond children's literature, my writing also serves as a personal journey of healing and self-discovery.
